Part of Montana History Fest 2026
“A Night on the Wall”
Montana climbing history - a story telling event
presented by Stonetree Climbing Center & Helena Climbers Coalition
Friday, June 26th
Doors Open @ 5:00PM - Stories Begin @ 6:00PM
Join us at Stonetree Climbing Center for an evening with some of Montana's most legendary climbers. Presented in partnership with the Helena Climbers Coalition, this panel brings together pioneers of Montana climbing history for a moderated conversation built around storytelling — the routes, the adventures, and the eras that shaped climbing under the Big Sky.
Current panelists include, but are not limited to Terry Kennedy, Bill Dockins, Kristin Drumheller, Gray Thompson, Dougal Mccarty, Tom Cladouhous, Jim Emerson, Jake Merganthaleter & Ron Brunckhorst -- and we hope so many more. This is a rare opportunity to hear these stories firsthand, in a space dedicated to the sport they helped define. Come listen and share. We promise this will be an unforgettable night.
Join us Friday, June 26th 2026 for a storytelling night that you’ll hang onto forever.
